The 9th and 10th of March, Tarek Ghazel, representative of the GVC and member of the national secretariat of the OPEV in Tunisia, boosted the first training in community empowerment for the local office of the OPEV in Zarzis. During those two days of exchange, the participants created an OPEV’s platform devoted to the prevention of violent extremism.
This meeting facilitated the reinforcement of the knowledge that the local members in the office of Zarzis have, aiming to better conceive and improve alternative discourses from violence in this municipality. These exchanges have also allowed adopting a unified methodology in the implementation of actions intending to strengthen social cohesion.
