From the 10th to the 14th of June, around 80 teenagers from the region of the Kef, Kasserine and Ariana (Tunisia) took part in an artistic summer camp organised by the OPEV and the Association Free Sight in Tunisia. The purpose of this artistic campus was to teach and help the teenagers to create six theatrical pieces which will be displayed during this summer in various festivals around Tunisia.
Several artists from Senegal, Canada, Morocco and France have participated in the workshops and followed closely the teenagers’ process in this space of artistic creation, sharings and social innovation.
The young participants were taught about theatrical techniques in the forums of their respective localities by the Tunisian artists Ayoub Jaouadi and Khawla Louhichi, during the months of April, May and June.
In this workshop, teenagers were able to better develop the competencies acquired, illustrate the ideas that they wanted to produce, and perform their plays in front of international and national renown and prestigious artists intending to improve their skills.
This activity is part of the project SALAM for la prevention of violent extremism in #Tunisie of #OPEV and financed by the European Union and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development.
